ABOUT US

NLA was established in 2012 by Nicholas Lee, an architect of more than thirty years experience designing residential, retail and commercial architecture, from new build offices and artist studios to the renovation of listed buildings. Previously having worked for Richard Rogers under the team of Pierre Botschi and in the Hong Kong office of Norman Foster on the new Chek Lap Kok Airport project, as well as on several private projects in Shanghai, Beijing. Before returning to London in 1997, he worked on the high rail and MRTA underground infrastructure projects in Bangkok.

Consisting of an invaluable team of architects with offices based in Hampstead North London and Suffolk, NLA tailor their approach to enable a perceptive understanding of individual client’s requirements. Working through each design stage with a critical mind set, the practice has a strong track record for developing high quality ideas to achieve planning permission and the successful management of a project through to completion.
